The background 

Our client is a 47 year old smoker who was looking for life insurance to protect his mortgage and to leave a lump sum for his partner if he passed away.

However, he has a history of mental health issues and was admitted to a private rehabilitation centre due to depression in 2008 where he received psychiatric treatment. Our client is also an alcoholic and has been attending AA meeting for the last 2 years.

Due to the combination of our client’s medical history, all ‘high street’ providers were unable to offer him cover.

Our process

Regardless our client’s history, being insurance specialists, we were able to help him arrange cover with an insurer we have access to. He now has a £40,000 life policy for a premium of £69.08 per month.
