Experience – our advisers spend two months training and must become RO1 and RO5 qualified before they speak to clients. Our experience is second to none, and we have published over 400 blogs about real-life case studies relating to numerous health conditions, occupations and hobbies. We also provide up to date information and advice about the protection industry.
Knowledge of the marketplace – we understand how difficult it can be to find suitable cover if you have a pre-existing medical condition, regularly take part in dangerous sports or past times, frequently travel overseas or have a hazardous occupation. We have found policies for clients who have a wide range of conditions, even those who believed that they were uninsurable.
Committed to protecting – if you decide to leave our services, we will offer to check your policy documents to ensure your new cover is fit for purpose. Whilst very few people leave our services (we have kept 96% of our clients since we started trading in 2011), we have found that our policy checking service has resulted in us helping clients who have been cold called. Some people have discovered that their new policy documents or application forms contain significant errors, where another broker has played down a health condition, or worst case, it has not been disclosed to the insurer at all and could have resulted in non-payment of a claim. In one case, only one person out of two has been covered when the application was for a joint policy. What matters to us, is that you are protected – we are your safety net.
Trusts – can be put in place at no additional cost to you. We are happy to provide the relevant forms and assist you in completing them, if required. Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Respected – David our founder is a member of the Protection Distributors Group PDG which consists of ten protection advice and broker firms from the insurance industry. Their aim is to help families find the protection they need by encouraging insurers and intermediaries to deliver better consumer outcomes. Their aim is to provide a voice for the sector and improve products and services for clients – one of their major achievements was to instigate the funeral pledge which called for insurers to do more to help bereaved families, by paying up to £5,000 towards the cost of a funeral if the full policy claim was likely to be delayed.
What can I expect? – we research the best protection providers on the market and use them to find a product that meets your needs. Your dedicated adviser will assist you with submitting your application and provide full support throughout the application process. As mentioned, we are advisers, not salespeople, and our advice comes with absolutely no obligation or hard sell. The decision to proceed is entirely yours and you will be guided through the whole process at your pace. We are big fans of using plain language not jargon, and endeavour to make obtaining insurance as easy as possible to understand.

How do we get paid? – we get paid a commission by the insurance company if you decide to take out a policy – you do not pay us directly. We will provide you with a quotation from the insurer, which will details exactly how much you will pay for your cover and how much commission we will receive from the insurer.
