David Mead founded Future Proof in 2011. He has over 17 years of experience within the industry and founded the company based on wanting to provide clients with high quality, clear and friendly advice. He believes that a client relationship is ongoing rather than transactional.

David is responsible for Future Proof’s strategic business partnerships and its ongoing growth.

Lucy has a degree in English Literature and over 15 years of administration experience. She joined Future Proof in 2012 and was Manager of the support team. In 2017, Lucy took over the HR and Operations aspects of the business. She is responsible for all areas of HR, compliance and recruitment on the Future Proof and St James’s Place Protection Planning side.

Lewis previously worked for AIG Life and pensions provider, Just Retirement. Initially, Lewis’s role was as a Protection Adviser. Lewis is now responsible for delivering the Future Proof training process. His focus is to maintain excellent customer outcomes, provide Advisers with relevant skills to understand client requirements and offer relevant and compliant advice.

Dean has worked in Financial Services for 24 years, the last decade exclusively within protection.  He has held positions ranging from Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager to National Account Manager level.  Dean is FPC1 and R05 qualified. He is passionate about all areas of protection.

Steph has worked in the industry for 35 years and has a wealth of experience from across the industry. Specialising in protection advice for the last 15 years.   Steph is FPC 1.2 & 3, CeMap, R01 & R06 qualified.  She is excited to share her passion for protection with one of the most respected specialised protection firms in the industry.

Sarah has worked in financial services for over 25 years, working in both the UK and International markets.  She has spent the last 10 years working in the protection industry and sees herself as a Protection champion.  Sarah is FPC1, R01, and R05 qualified.

Amy has over 20 years of experience in the Mortgage and Protection industry. CeMAP, RO1 and RO5 qualified, she is also our longest serving Adviser and has a wealth of knowledge in helping our clients, often when they have had difficulty with getting a policy in the past due to medical disclosures.

Amy’s knowledge and expertise of insurance providers and underwriting criteria are second to none.

Matthew started his career in Financial Services in the late ’90s as a Financial Consultant. He joined a Protection Specialist broker where he spent 13 years advising, coaching and in Leadership roles. He is FPC1, 2, 3 and RO1 qualified.

Angus joined our Adviser team in June 2019 and comes from a sales background. He is RO1 and RO5 qualified and was promoted to Team leader in December 2022.

Andy joined Future Proof in April 2021. Previously, he worked as an FX Dealer for four years, advising on the FX markets for both corporate and private clients. Then at an Independent Financial Advisers as a trainee adviser where he gained his qualifications  R01, R02 and R05. In December 2022 Andy was promoted to Team leader.

Mollie joined Future Proof as an Apprentice in 2014, working in the customer service team whilst gaining her NVQ. She has progressed rapidly, being promoted to an Adviser in 2016 and expanding her knowledge every year, now specialising in business protection and corporate protection. Mollie holds her RO1, RO2, RO3, RO4, RO5 and RO6 qualifications.

Mollie was promoted to Senior Specialist Adviser in 2020 and promoted to Adviser Team Leader in 2023. She is the winner of the 2018 Protection Review Young Achiever of the Year Award and the 2022 Protection Adviser of the Year Award.

Aimee began her Protection career at the age of 18, she is RO1 and RO5 qualified. She brings extensive knowledge of individual and business protection.

Robyn joined Future Proof in 2014 as the company’s Client Relationship Manager. She has over 12 years of experience in customer services, having previously worked within the corporate business sector. Robyn is responsible for managing the team, ensuring we provide a first-class service to all our clients.

Nadia graduated from University with a Law with Business Degree. Deciding she didn’t want to go into Law but enjoyed the business side she joined the client relationship at Future Proof. In 2021, Nadia was promoted to Team Leader.

Vicky has 25 years of administration and secretarial experience in both the public and private sectors.  She previously worked as a PA in education prior to running her own virtual assistant business.  She has also worked as a 999 call handler for the ambulance service so is calm in a crisis! Vicky was promoted to Administration Manager in 2021.

Kathleen has been in a customer-focused role for most of her professional career. In April 2021, Kathleen was promoted to become an Administration Manager.

James joined the Futureproof Team in May 2021 having previously worked in various compliance & support roles in the City of London for advisers and wealth managers. James took on the role of Marketing Executive in October 2023.

Adrienn joined Future Proof in 2014, having previously worked within the industry as a commercial underwriter for Travelers Insurance Company. Being RO1, RO5 and CII certified, Adrienn has extensive knowledge of Life Insurance, including Business Protection.

Karen has many years of experience in financial services and has a passion for delivering first-class customer service. Karen is CeMAP qualified and also achieved her CFSP, she is both RO1 and RO5 qualified.

TJ has worked in Financial Services for over 19 years for a number of leading Protection Insurance providers. He ensures that he works on the key principle of providing high-quality clear advice to individuals and businesses. TJ’s qualifications include FPC1, FPC2, RO1 and RO5.

Aimee started as a Customer Service Apprentice in 2014. Since then, she has gained an NVQ in Business Administration and worked in the administrative support team for 18 months. She was appointed to Digital Business Development Coordinator in September 2017.

Aimee was promoted to Protection Adviser in August 2020 after passing her RO1 and 5 exams. She has excellent customer service skills and a thorough knowledge of the industry.

Molly formerly completed a Sports degree at Leeds Met, joining Future Proof in August 2019 as a Client Relationship Adviser. After passing her RO1 and RO5 examinations, Molly became a Protection Adviser in 2020.

Alfonso joined Future Proof’s Adviser team in February 2020. He previously worked within the medical insurance industry and in claims authorisation at a multinational medical and travel security services firm.
Alfonso is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Mickey previously worked for an Aircraft Parts stockist as their Deputy Head of sales. Having worked there for 6 years, the pandemic prompted him to seek a career change. He is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Emma joined Future Proof in October 2020 with 7 years of previous experience in financial services.

Emma’s previous jobs were banking with the Halifax, annuity, equity release specialist Just Retirement and most recently VitalityInvest. Emma is CF1, FA2, ER1, RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Louise has worked in Financial Services 15 years focusing on Inheritance Tax, High-Value Clients, Trusts and Financial Protection for the last 10 years. Louise is experienced in dealing with large value, complex insurance cases which involve a plethora of stakeholders and multiple members of families. Louise is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Martin started work in Financial Services back in the mid-’90s, initially working for Prudential and Friends Provident before moving into bank assurance, then portfolio investment advice as a level 4 qualified adviser.

James joined Future Proof in June 2021 and passed his RO1  and RO5 qualifications in record time! He began in financial services in 2008 at moneysupermarket.com then working for a local mortgage & Insurance firm heading the protection side of the business.

Chelsie has been working as a Protection Adviser since 2019, after claiming back mis-sold PPI for almost 7 years. She is RO1 and R05 qualified.

After graduating from University in English Literature 2 years ago Hannah spent a year and a half as a Portfolio Manager for an Estate Agents. She joined the Future Proof team to continue her passion for helping others through customer services. Hannah was promoted to Adviser in 2022, and to Senior Adviser in 2024. She holds the RO1 and Ro5 qualifications.

Chris has been working in financial services for 5 years and began in mortgage administration. Since September 2019, he has been working in protection advice roles. He is RO1 and RO5 qualified.

Billy joined Future Proof in July 2022, having previously worked within the industry advising on protection products since leaving university in 2018. Being RO1, RO5 and CII certified, Billy has extensive knowledge of life insurance and other protection solutions.

Harry joined the client relationship team in January 2020, with the aim to progress and become a protection adviser. Harry subsequently passed his RO1 and RO5 qualifications and became a Protection adviser February 2023.

Sally joined Future Proof in February 2023 and is passionate about bringing her varied experience gained over 20 years working in financial advice practices, to shape the right protection plans for her clients.  She is LIBF Diploma qualified, and holds the CeMAP exam, having also advised on mortgages alongside protection.

Thomas or TC joined Future Proof in February 2023 and brings a vast experience working in the Financial sector with the general public with him. He is R01 and R05 qualified and has been advising on protection for a number of years.

Sultan joined the Future Proof team in June 2023 bringing with her 4 years of experience in Protection Advice. She holds her RO5 qualification and will be working towards her RO1 exam. She previously worked within a small advice firm and has over 10 years knowledge attained in the banking industry including Mortgage, Protection & general insurance advice.

Carl joined Future Proof in June 2023. He began in financial services in 2001 initially as a life and critical illness underwriter. He has worked the last 12 years as a protection adviser having previously worked at a competitor. He is CF1,CF2, CF3, CF4 and CF6 qualified.

Dave has worked in financial services for over 15 years, specialising in financial protection. He has a broad knowledge of protection products & solutions, including business protection and IHT protection solutions. Dave is CF1 & R05 qualified.

Katie joined Future Proof in June 2023, she has worked in financial services for over 20 years. Katie is CeMap qualified and began working for a building Society, gaining experience in loans and mortgages before focusing on Protection Advice. Katie has worked purely in protection for nearly 6 years.

Esther joined Future Proof in November 2023 and has worked in various financial services roles since 2013. Having previously worked as an adviser support for wealth management firms, Esther took a keen interest in specialising in protection and has been advising for over 4 years now. She ensures her customers are well informed and takes pride in offering excellent customer service. She is R01 and R05 qualified.

Phoebe has over six years of experience in customer service previously having worked for a bank in the wealth management team. Phoebe joined Future Proof in 2022 to continue what she is passionate about and further her knowledge in Financial services. She is RO1 qualified and in November 2023 joined the Adviser team.

Katy started her career in the financial services industry in 2019 as a mortgage/protection case manager, after a break in career to look after her family. She was then promoted to Protection Specialist in 2020 moving to a larger mortgage/protection firm in 2022 where she furthered her knowledge and expertise in Protection. Katy is both CeMap and Cert Pro qualified.

Helen has worked within financial services for many years starting her protection career in 2018 as a case administrator.  After passing her R05 exam in 2019 she has since worked as an adviser helping client navigate their protection needs.  Helen passed her R01 examination in September 2024.

Simon has spent 20 years working within financial services, 18 of those years as a CeMap qualified mortgage and protection advisor.  Wanting to focus on protection only Simon joined Future Proof as an adviser in November 2023

Simon is R01 and R05 qualified.

After completing his CeMAP in 2022, Stephen spent 2 years in the industry as a mortgage advisor. He joined Future Proof in August 2024 and has since completed his RO5 exam (with a score of 96%!)

Prior to joining Future Proof in August 2024 Alfie worked as a protection advisor, advising on Life, Critical Illness and Income Protection. Alfie also has a degree in pharmacology from the University of Bath.

Rachel has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, her background includes project management, sales and customer services. She is very organised and meticulous with an eye for detail. Rachel provides Partner support, taking pride in everything that she does.

With over 20 years of experience in administration, Sarah was formerly involved in the mortgage sector and joined Future Proof at its inception in 2011. She is responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate process of applications, from point of advice to commencement of cover.

Lucy has 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, she joined the company bringing with her vast account management and administration experience.

Rachel has 15 years of experience in administration and customer service roles within many different areas of the Travel Industry. Rachel has explored and travelled to many countries before joining the finance sector.

Jethro joined the advisor support Co-Ordinator team in March 2022. Previously, he worked at Legal & General for nearly 3 years working in investments and Life insurance. His aim is to be a protection adviser in the future.

Vicki joined SJP in July 2022 and has over 20 years of experience in administration & project management within the TV & Events industry.

Rachel joined Future Proof in June 2022 having worked in Financial Services for 13 years. For the last 10 years she has worked as a senior pensions administrator.

Matthew is an experienced financial administrator and joined Future Proof in November 2022. Previously, he has worked for AIG Life and Travelers Insurance Company in their Claims and IT (Management Reporting) departments.

Gemma has worked in administration for 20 years having previously been a pensions administrator for the last 8 years.

Abigail has worked in the property/ financial industry for 7 years. Beginning work in an estate agency before moving into mortgages & protection. She gained her CeMAP qualification in 2021.

Aichel has over 8 years of admin experience, with the last 3 years in the financial services industry.

She is CeMAP qualified and has dipped her toe in the world of mortgage and protection advice.

Chelsea graduated University in 2020 with a law degree.

After graduating she worked in a law firm as a legal assistant for 18 months. She decided that a career in law was not for her, so worked in various occupations in the hospitality industry while considering her next step.

Chelsea then decided that financial services would be the career for her, with a number of skills transferrable from her legal background, so she joined Future Proof in November 2023.

Leanne joined Future Proof as a Client Relationship Adviser in 2016 where she gained an NVQ in Business Administration. In 2018, Leanne was promoted to Senior Client Services Adviser and in 2021 she joined the SJP PP team to focus on providing medical research support to the advisers.

June has over eight years of experience working in Customer Services having previously worked in the corporate sector.

She also spent 20 plus years running a family light haulage company.

Emilia joined the customer service team in July 2022, wanting to further her knowledge and pursue a career in financial services.

Megan has 3 years’ worth of customer service experience.  Megan re-joined FP in June 2023 after 3 years away working for a home improvements company, where she worked as an administrator.

With a background in finance, Giann joined the customer service team in August 2024, kick-starting her career in the field of insurance.
